This work develops a computer solution that facilitates and improves the quantitative assessment of the technological risk caused by explosions of physical origin in industrial containers. Two of the fundamental parameters that characterize this type of explosions, the overpressure and the impulse, are the central axis of this computer application. The work implements a methodology developed by specialists in the subject that determines based on one of the most widespread methods in the specialized literature, the Baker method, the overpressure and the impulse in industrial explosions of physical origin. The application was developed in Java, which is cross-platform and requires a minimum of technical requirements, while the Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that is used is NetBeans 10.0 with JDK 9.0.1. Tools such as the Engauge Digitizer and the Visual Paradigm for UML are also used and to visualize the relations between the classes that involve the system, the class diagram is used.
