This present work is carried out by a bibliographical revision about the mixtures combustible, where it was determined that the mixture diesel - ethanol represents a possible solution at the present time to lengthen the life of the fossil fuels and to avoid, this way, its definitive disappearance. According to the consulted literature the mixture composed by ten percent of diesel 35 percent of fig oil and 55 percent of ethanol (10-35-55 ) offers favorable results, which can be used in a motor of having lit by compression without necessity of modifying. The selected study was Pin On Disc, which doesn't seek to represent all the conditions that can be experienced during the exploitation of a hose or engine. For this reason it is not guaranteed that results of the magnitude of the waste exist for conditions that differ of those of this rehearsal procedure. The combustible mixture in comparison with the diesel threw better results diminishing the lost volume by 16.66 percent. It demonstrates a better behavior as for the lubricity and therefore the possibility to prolong the useful life of any component that is lubricated by fuel itself. The rehearsals where the combustible mixture was used offered a value of waste coefficient (K) smaller than in the previous rehearsals, because the same one is directly proportional to the lost of volume, which is the only different variable in each rehearsal.
