The present research consists of designing a rural tourism product in the Neo Farm that allows the use of existing resources in a sustainable way according to the objectives of the tourism development of the country and satisfies the demands of the market. This area presents unequaled conditions for the development of rural tourism, due to the relevant productive results, its rich natural diversity and above all the culture, customs and hospitality of its inhabitants. To this end, several procedures for the design of new products were analyzed, selecting the participatory procedure for the design of integrated tourism products proposed by Machado (2011). The main value of this investigation is that it is in correspondence with the guidelines of the Economic and Social Policy of the Party and the Revolution. It also meets the current need to create new and diverse offers based on the integration of all the attractions and components of a destination, achieving their authenticity and responding to the new demands of the market. On the other hand, it is a source of direct income for the economy and stimulates the economy of the area, thus enabling local development and improving the quality of life in rural communities.
