In UCLV there is currently a Postgraduate Control System, whose database is implemented in PostgrSQL, and where multiple historical data are stored for the control of this Process, including the part related to the Training Procedure for Masters and Specialists. This information is provided through the University Network for the different areas authorized to teach postgraduate courses. The postgraduate department of the center itself needs to frequently analyze information in a non-traditional way through ad-hoc reports, to deliver to manager’s tabulated results and graphs that allow producing new knowledge about such procedure. This work focuses on the analysis of the historical data concerning Masters and Specialties based on the use of Pentaho, as a fundamental tool for extraction, transformation, cleaning and loading (ETL) processes, obtaining a unified view with the highest possible quality In the form of a Data Market. These data by request of the tutor are stored in the Access DBMS where the specific Data Market Star Model was implemented. From this database it is possible to easily create several ad-hoc reports, of which some examples are shown in this research.
