Resumen
El turismo es un fenómeno social, cultural y económico que supone el desplazamiento de personas a países o lugares fuera de su entorno habitual por motivos personales, profesionales o de negocios. Es, sin dudas, una actividad que constituye un factor clave para el progreso socioeconómico en la región, a pesardel complejo escenario creado en el sector del turismo por las afectaciones dela COVID-19. Santa Clara constituye un destino turístico específico, donde sus recursos turísticos no son eficientemente utilizados, debido entre otras causas a una gestión reactiva más que proactiva. Debido a este escenario, se reconoce la necesidad de elaborar una estrategia de gestión integrada con un enfoque responsable, centrada en incrementar los estándares de seguridad higiénico-sanitaria en los destinos turísticos para ser más competitivos ypropiciar una cultura de responsabilidad en los profesionales del turismo y turistas, de manera que se minimice el impacto de la pandemia en el sector.Para dar cumplimiento al objetivo de la investigación se realizó la sistematización de la bibliografía nacional e internacional relacionada con los destinos turísticos, su gestión y el turismo responsable. Se diagnosticó el destino Santa Clara, siendo la antesala para las acciones a efectuar como parte de la estrategia diseñada a partir del procedimiento elaborado por Rodríguez (2019), el cual destaca por ser novedoso, integrador, con flexibilidad, perspectiva y adaptabilidad a las características propias de un destino turístico.El estudio se apoya en métodos del nivel teórico, empírico y estadístico.
Tourism is a social, cultural and economic phenomenon that supposes the displacement of people to countries or places out of their common environment for personal, professional or business motives. It is, by far, an activity constitutes an important factor for the socioeconomic in the region, although the complex situation created in the tourism sector for the problems caused by Covid-19. Santa Clara constitutes a touristic and specific network, where these resources are not very well used, due to, among other causes to a reactive and more than a proactive work. Due to this situation it is recognized the need to elaborate a strategy of integrated work with a responsible focused, going to increase the standards of sanitary safety in the tourist network to be more competitive and help a culture of responsibility in the professionals of tourism and tourist, so that it minimizesthe impact of the pandemic in the sector. To comply with the objective of the investigation the systemization was performed the national and international bibliography related with touristic network, their work and the responsible tourism. Santa Clara network was diagnosed, being the beginning of the actions to be performed as a part of the strategy designed from the procedure made by Rodriguez (2019), which stands out for being newfangled, integrator with flexibility, perspective and adaptability to the own characteristic of a touristic network. The study is supported in theoretical and empiric and statistic methods.
