Resumen
El presente trabajo se realizó en la Dirección Estatal de Comercio en Villa Clara y aborda el tema de las habilidades directivas como problema que afecta la gestión organizacional y tiene como objetivo fundamental diagnosticar el desarrollo de las habilidades directivas para contribuir al proceso de formación de los directivos y especialistas. En el mismo se evalúan las principales debilidades de las habilidades de menor puntaje. Se resumen los resultados de los métodos, técnicas y herramientas aplicadas en el diagnóstico, entre estas se encuentran la entrevista, la observación, la encuesta, el análisis documental, y se muestran diferentes gráficos a partir de los criterios emitidos para cada habilidad, además se realiza un resumen comparativo entre cada una de ellas. Se exponen los aspectos a favor y en contra de las habilidades afectadas y un árbol de problema que permiten dar continuidad a la investigación.
