Resumen
La gestión del mantenimiento se ha convertido en uno de los pilares fundamentales para el
logro de un resultado exitosos de las empresas hoy en día. Lograr insertar los conocimientos
que se posean de esta materia al desarrollar el proceso de toma de decisiones referente al
mejoramiento del desempeño de la organización es una de las misiones del Ingeniero Industrial,
por ello se hace necesario poner en sus manos los elementos principales que caracterizan a
esta función.
Dada la elevada dispersión de los elementos fundamentales de los sistemas utilizados para
desarrollar la Gestión del Mantenimiento en la literatura internacional y nacional se hace
necesario disponer de un material que integre estos conocimientos de forma clara, sencilla y
precisa, de manera que sirva de fuente de consulta para los estudiantes de Ingeniería Industrial.
Como resultado de la investigación se logra la construcción de un material que incluye los
elementos fundamentales de desarrollo de la Gestión del Mantenimiento a través de cuatro
sistemas de mantenimiento (MCC, TPM, MPP y SAM), los cuales se consideran necesarios
para enriquecer el conocimiento de los Ingenieros Industriales en esta rama.
The administration of the maintenance has become one of the fundamental pillars for the achievement of a successful result of the companies today in day. To be able to insert the knowledge that are possessed from this matter when developing the process of taking of decisions with respect to the improvement of the acting of the organization is one of the Industrial Engineer's missions, for it becomes it necessary to put in their hands the main elements that characterize to this function. Given the high dispersion of the fundamental elements of the systems used to develop the Administration of the Maintenance in the international and national literature becomes necessary to have a material that integrates these knowledge in a clear, simple and precise way, so that it serves as consultation source for the students of Industrial Engineering. As a result of the investigation the construction of a material is achieved that includes the fundamental elements of development of the Administration of the Maintenance through four maintenance systems (MCC, TPM, MPP and SAM), which are considered necessary to enrich the knowledge of the Industrial Engineers in this branch.
