The present research develops a feasibility study for the implementation of a plant producing cassava flour, promoted by the National Company for the Protection of Flora and Fauna, UEB of Villa Clara, as a support for the development of the production industry of briquettes in the country. The work includes as a starting point a market study which is based on an analysis of supply, demand and prices for the determination of the desired levels of production and the necessary technology. Subsequently through a technical study are verified the necessary technological conditions and the viability of the same in the concrete conditions in which it is intended to develop the expected production. Based on the data obtained from both stages, an economic study is presented which, in a detailed way, illustrates the behavior of the company in the proposed scenario while providing the basis for the economic-financial evaluation. As a highlight of the research, the benefits associated with the project's implementation and the country's suitability are shown by using universally recognized financial assessment indicators. The theoretical support of the whole study is contributed by carrying out a previous bibliographic analysis, in which the main exponents of the specialized literature on the subject are explored.
