Resumen
Un elemento de sustancial importancia para el desarrollo y competitividad de las entidades turísticas hoteleras lo constituye hoy, la innovación tecnológica, siendo una de las más importante fuentes de cambio para la generación de bienes y servicios. La Gestión Tecnológica e Innovación surge como una de las capacidades con las que puede contar un hotel para administrar sus tecnologías e innovaciones en cada una de sus diferentes áreas, posibilitando una combinación efectiva de capacidades técnicas, de capital humano, financiera, comercial y administrativa en función de la satisfacción de sus clientes. A partir de esto, el presente trabajo de diploma define como objetivo general: proponer un plan de acciones para la gestión de la actividad de innovación tecnológica en el hotel América, sustentado en un diagnóstico previo, que tome en cuenta sus características particulares. Para dar cumplimiento a este objetivo se aplicó un procedimiento de diagnóstico para esta actividad en el hotel, resultando bajo o insipiente el desarrollo de su innovación tecnológica actual. En función de las principales problemáticas detectadas se evalúan y proponen varias acciones hacia las cuales el hotel debe centrar su actividad futura de mejoras, con vistas a perfeccionar su gestión tecnológica e innovación. En el desarrollo del trabajo se emplean varios métodos y técnicas, sobresaliendo el análisis y síntesis, inductivo-deductivo, general de solución de problemas y técnicas relacionadas con encuestas, entrevistas y análisis multicriterio.
An element of substantial importance for the development and compe titiveness of hotel tourism entities constitutes today, technological innovation, one of the most important sources of change for the generation of goods and services. Technology Management and Innovation emerges as one of the capabilities that can expect a hotel to manage their technologies and innovations in each of its different areas, enabling an effective combination of technical, human, financial, commercial and administrative capital role of customer satisfaction. From this, this paper defines as a g eneral objective: to propose an action plan for managing the activity of t echnological innovation in America hotel based on a previous diagnosis that takes into account their particular characteristics. To fulfill this objective, a diagnostic procedure for thi s activity on site, resulting low or of incipient development of its current technological innovation applied. Depending on the main problems identified are evaluated and proposed several actions to which the hotel should focus its future activities of improvements in perfecting its technology and innovation management. In development work several methods and techniques are used, projecting the analysis and synthesis, inductive - deductive, general troubleshooting and related surveys, interviews and multi - criteria analysis techniques.
