Presently he/she is carried out the characterization of the coconut fibre based on the behaviour of their properties physique mechanics for their use like reinforcement of material compound main polymeric. A comparison settles down among the fibres obtained in Sacred Domingo's area cocotte and of Key the Cows. Starting from the results of the behaviour of the coconut fibres it introduces the same one in the polyester resin and they are carried out rehearsals to the samples to determine such properties as the resistance to the traction, the one modulates of elasticity and the Poisson coefficient. As fundamental results one has that the resistance to the traction of the fibre of coconut of Key the Cows vary between 21 and 23MPa the same as in Sacred Domingo, the percent of humidity it is in the range from 0 to 10 in Sacred Domingo and of 0 at 0.25 in Key the Cows. The thickness oscillates among 2 to 5 mm in both places. When adding the different types of fibbers in the polyester resin one has that for the case of the coconut fibre the studied properties vary in the range of the 270 MPa for the glass in robing form 800, 131MPa for form mat 600, in the coconut are of 32MPa. With the I modulate of elasticity the coconut he/she has like he/she mediates 570MPa while the glass fibre varies de1903 up to 2402 MPa in its two forms. And the poison coefficient doesn't vary a lot and for the coconut it is of 0.075 and for the glass 0.15.
