Resumen
La investigación se desarrolló en el contexto universitario específicamente en la Facultad de Construcciones de la Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas. Se realizó un estudio sobre la importancia de la multimedia como elemento indispensable del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, resultante del desarrollo de las TICs y cuyo objetivo general es elaborar un producto educativo “Multimedia” para la Asignatura TCHAU-I de la Disciplina TCHAU de la carrera de Arquitectura para la autogestión del conocimiento de los estudiantes y profesionales.
Se trabajó con la metodología de enfoque mixto desde la perspectiva cualitativa. Es un tipo de estudio no experimental de tipo transversal descriptivo donde se interactúa con estudiantes, graduados, profesores y directivos. Los criterios de selección de la muestra es no probabilística e intencional. Se asume la triangulación de métodos para arribar al análisis de los resultados, a partir de la información obtenida a través de revisión de documentos, entrevistas y de encuestas.
Las técnicas aplicadas en la investigación permitieron constatar que era necesaria la creación del producto “Multimedia”, como producto final de esta investigación, que posibilita que toda la información de la Asignatura TCHAU-I se encuentre almacenada y organizada en un producto comunicativo de fácil acceso, permitiendo relacionar visualmente los textos y las fotografías, lo cual economiza el tiempo de acceso a la misma e incrementa la calidad del proceso de autogestión del conocimiento de los estudiantes de dicha Asignatura.
The investigation was developed in the university context specifically in the Construction Faculty of the Central University “Marta Abreu” of Las Villas. A study about the importance of the multimedia as an indispensable element in the teaching - learning process was carried out, a result of the development of ICTs and whose general objective is to elaborate an educational product ¨Multimedia¨ for the subject TCHAU-I of the discipline TCHAU of the Architecture career for the self-administration of the knowledge of the students and professionals. A mixed methodology was used from a qualitative perspective. It is a type of non-experimental study of a transversal, descriptive type where students, graduands, professors and directors were interacted with. The criteria for selection of the sample population is non probabilistic and intentional. The triangulation of methods is assumed to arrive at the analysis of the results, from the information obtained through the revision of documents, interviews and questionnaires. The techniques applied in the investigation permitted the verification that the creation of the “Multimedia” product was necessary , as a final product of this investigation, that facilitated that all the information of the subject TCHAU – I is found stored and organized in a communicative product of easy access, permitting the visual relationship of the texts and photographs, which economizes access time to the same and increment the quality of the process of self-administration of the knowledge of the students of the said subject.
