Resumen
El presente trabajo se enmarca en la Empresa de Materiales de Construcción de Villa Clara
ubicada en la ciudad de Santa Clara, con el objetivo general de diseñar la estrategia de dicha
organización para lograr un alto desempeño de la misma dentro del sector empresarial en el
cual se enmarca. Como base científica y sólida y para orientar el desarrollo de la investigación,
se identificaron los elementos del marco teórico referencial referentes a los fundamentos de la
estrategia a través de las diez escuelas del pensamiento estratégico presentadas por Mintzberg,
así como su importancia para el éxito de una empresa y el desarrollo de la misma dentro de
nuestro país de acuerdo a cada período de sostenibilidad económica; además del análisis de
algunos procedimientos y/o metodologías. Para darle cumplimiento al objetivo general se
selecciona el procedimiento propuesto por el Centro de Estudios de Dirección de la Universidad
Central ¨Marta Abreu¨ de Las Villas conformado por cuatro etapas, las cuales en su aplicación
incluye el uso de algunas herramientas como la Matriz de Impactos Cruzados (DAFO) y la
Teoría de Recursos y Capacidades. Con esta aplicación se definieron las categorías básicas de
la empresa, se realizó un diagnóstico y formulación estratégica y se propuso un plan de acción
como sistema de control, lo que fue valorado positivamente por el consejo de dirección de la
empresa.
The present work places in the Company of Materials of Construction of Clear Villa located in the city of Santa Clara, with the general aim to design the strategy of the above mentioned organization to achieve a high performance of the same one inside the managerial sector in which it places. As scientific and solid base and to orientate the development of the investigation, there were identified the elements of the theoretical referential frame relating to the foundations of the strategy across ten schools of the strategic thought presented by Mintzberg, as well as his importance for the success of a company and the development of the same one inside our country of agreement to every period of economic sustainability; besides the analysis of some procedures and / or methodologies. To give him fulfillment to the general aim there selects the procedure proposed by the Center of Studies of Direction of the Central University ¨Marta Abreu ¨ of The Villas shaped by four stages, which in his application it includes the use of some tools as the Counterfoil of Crossed Impacts (DAFO) and the Theory of Resources and Capacities. With this application the basic categories of the company were defined, a diagnosis and strategic formulation was realized and one proposed an action plan as system of control, which was valued positively by the advice of direction of the company.
