| dc.description.abstract | El estudio del turismo como factor de desarrollo económico local constituye en la actualidad un tema de vital importancia dentro de la economía del país. Cuba no está exenta de esta tendencia y dadas las manifestaciones coyunturales y estructurales de la economía, este sector se ha ido situando en la vanguardia dentro del ámbito económico. Es necesario señalar que no se concibe un desarrollo turístico si no se cumple con las políticas ambientales que se establecen en las diferentes instalaciones que componen la planta turística. Existen dificultades con la gestión de desechos y otras sustancias que le provocan serios daños al medio ambiente y afectan la vida del personal que labora en dichas instalaciones. El ahorro de combustibles, energía, agua y otros productos que escasean a nivel mundial dado su uso irracional es también un tema que se concibe dentro de la gestión medioambiental. El caso del Hotel Occidental Royal Hideway Ensenachos, perteneciente a la cadena de hoteles Occidental de la Cayería norte de Villa Clara, objeto de nuestra investigación, presenta algunas dificultades del tipo medioambiental que se analizan en este trabajo así como las estrategias de enfrentamiento y solución de las mismas. a partir de la necesidad de profundizar en estudios desarrollados sobre esta problemática. En la misma, se persigue obtener un mayor conocimiento sobre los resultados obtenidos y de la gestión que aún falta en la instalación. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The study of tourism as a fact of local economical development is at present, a point of vital important in the economy of the country. Cuba is not far from this trend and with the present-day structural and international circumstances of the economy, tourism is becoming a branch of high level in the economical output. It is necessary to explain that it is not possible to build a touristic development if the environmental policies of every facility are not fulfilled. There are problems with the management of remains and substances which cause damages in the environment and so they affect the lives of the staff who work there. The saving of fuels, energy, water and other products scarcely existing at the world´s level, for their irrational use is also a topic very close related to the environment management. The case of the Occidental Royal Hideway Ensenachos Hotel which belongs to the Chain Occidental in the North of Villa Clara, the central point of our investigation shows some difficulties in the treatment of the environment. They are analized here together with the strategies to face and do away with them. The need of carrying out studies about this problem can get a better understanding about the results to improve the environmental management in the hotel. | en_US |
