Resumen
El centro de Cuba ha mantenido en los últimos años un desarrollo acelerado de sus instalaciones turísticas, sin embargo la diversificación de las ofertas del destino a través del aprovechamiento de los recursos de la regióny de la satisfacción de la demanda, no han estado a la par, es por ello que el objetivo general de la presente investigación consiste en diseñar un producto turístico de aventura, que combine el disfrute y aprendizaje de los valores culturales, naturales e históricos de la región con la práctica deportiva (ciclismo), logrando de esta forma la diversificaciónen la oferta de la región. Para el logro de tales objetivos se analizó al turismo desde unpunto de vista sistémico y la implicación de sus componentes en eldesarrollo de nuevos productos, fueron analizados varios procedimientos para el diseño de productos, seleccionando el procedimiento participativo para el diseño de productos turísticos integrados propuesto por Machado (2011).El principal valor de la presente investigación radica en que está en correspondencia con los lineamientos de la Política Económica y Social del Partido y la Revolución, siendo su principal resultado el diseño de un producto auténtico y novedososobre la base de la integración de todos los atractivos y componentes de la zona, logrando la autenticidad y respondiendo a las demandas insatisfechas del mercado.
The center of Cuba has maintained in recent years an accelerated development of its tourist facilities, however the diversification of the offers of the destination through the use of the resources of the region and the satisfaction of the demand, have notbeen at the par.This is why the general objective of this research is to design an adventure tourism product that combines the enjoyment and learning of the cultural, natural and historical values of the region with sport practice (cycling), thus achieving diversification in the offer of the region.To achieve these objectives, tourism was analyzed from a systemic point of view and the implication of its components in the development of new products, several procedures were analyzed for the design of products, selecting the participatory procedure for the design of integrated tourismproducts proposed by Machado (2011). The main value of the present investigation is that it is in correspondence with the guidelines of the Economic and Social Policy of the Party and the Revolution, its main result being the design of an authentic and novel product based on the integration of all the attractions and components of the area, achieving authenticity and responding to unmet market demands.
