dc.description.abstractLa educación superior a nivel internacional enfrenta las contradicciones del contexto hegemónico y la ideología del sistema social dominante. Dentro de los principales retos se presenta la privatización y calidad en la formación de profesionales competentes y comprometidos con su rol y función social. Otra de las cuestiones que limitan el desarrollo de la educación superior es la ideología del pensamiento dominante presente en los medios de divulgación científica. Esto limita la investigación profesional a partir de enfoques emergentes y transformadores. El Congreso Universidad es un espacio de intercambio abierto a la multiplicidad de enfoques y a la integración de saberes. Se plantea como objetivo del estudio: identificar los principales retos de la educación superior en el siglo XXI a partir del análisis de los criterios de los investigadores que asistieron al Congreso Universidad 2016. Para la obtención de resultados se emplean métodos en los niveles teórico y empírico. Se identifican los principales retos que enfrenta la Educación Superior a partir del método bibliométrico, el análisis de contenido y la Teoría de la Argumentación.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe international higher education faces the contradictions of hegemonic context and ideology of the dominant social system. Among the main challenges, is present the priva-tization and quality in the training of competent and com-mitted to their professional role and social function. Another issue limiting the development of higher education is the ideology of this dominant thought in the scientific media. This limits the professional research from emerging approa-ches and transformers. University Congress is a swap spa-ce open to the multiplicity of approaches and the integra-tion of knowledge. Is propose as study objective: to identify the main challenges of higher education in the XXI century from the analysis of the criteria of the researchers who at-tended the University Congress in 2016. To obtain results methods used in the theoretical and empirical levels. Are identified the main challenges facing higher from higher education through bibliometric method, content analysis and Argumentation Theory.en_US
