Resumen
El presente trabajo muestra la propuesta de ideas preliminares para la remodelación del
Balneario perteneciente al Hotel Elguea, situado en el destino turístico de Villa Clara, como
respuesta a la creciente demanda de servicios de calidad en inmuebles dedicados al turismo
de salud y por la necesidad de intervenir, producto a las afectaciones que presenta por la
agresividad del medio y el paso del tiempo. Para ello se emplean métodos lógicos y
empíricos, mediante los cuales se elabora en una primera instancia del trabajo, el marco
teórico-conceptual dedicado al estudio de documentación que establecen las pautas para la
remodelación, enfocado en instalaciones turísticas, además del análisis de ejemplos
similares en Cuba y el extranjero. En una segunda etapa se realiza un estudio del sitio donde
se encuentra la edificación, así como un análisis detallado del inmueble, llegando a
establecer un balance de áreas, líneas de deseo, y un estimado de costo inicial. Como
resultado de todo lo anterior se obtiene una propuesta que se muestra en solución
volumétrica y planimétrica, acompañada de una memoria descriptiva e imaginarios, donde
queda demostrada la importancia de recuperar los balnearios en Cuba como forma de
incrementar el turismo de salud.
The present work shows the proposal of preliminary ideas for the remodeling of the Spa belonging to the Hotel Elguea, located in the tourist destination of Villa Clara, in response to the growing demand for quality services in buildings dedicated to health tourism and the need to intervene, product to the affectations that it presents by the aggressiveness of the environment and the passage of time. Logical and empirical methods are used, through which the theoretical-conceptual framework dedicated to the study of documentation that establish the guidelines for remodeling, focusing on tourist facilities. In addition to the analysis of similar examples in Cuba and abroad. In a second stage, a study of the site where the building is located is carried out, as well as a detailed analysis of the property, establishing a balance of areas, desire lines, and an initial cost estimate. As a result of all the above, a proposal is obtained that is shown in volumetric and planimetric solution, accompanied by a descriptive and imaginary memory, where the importance of recovering the spas in Cuba as a way to increase health tourism is demonstrated.
