The aim of the study is to characterize the scientific production of the iSchools movement in Latin America. A quantitative design was used and bibliometric techniques were combined with document analysis and social network analysis. The selected sample is the sev-en universities of the schools belonging to the Ibero-American re-gion: The University of Minho (UMinho), Nova University of Lisbon (UNL), University of Porto (U. Porto), Open University of Catalonia (UOC), Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M), Polytechnic Univer-sity of Valencia (UPV) and the Javeriana University of Colombia (U. Javeriana). Scientific production was retrivered between 2005 and 2018 with the aim of including the founding year of the movement. Univariate bibliometric indicators were calculated and networks of co-authorship, collaboration and co-occurrence were represent-ed for the identification of the main research topics in the region. The UC3M and the UPV obtained higher scientific productivity ev-idenced by the increases in the variation rate per year. The UC3M has the highest representation of authors in the top 20 and the UPV leads in the indicators of visibility and scientific impact. The UGR has a significant presence in the co-authorship of the main produc-ers associated with Bibliometrics and Science Evaluation issues and does not belong to the movement. Greater national collaboration and the participation of countries such as Colombia, Mexico, Vene-zuela and Cuba were identified. There is a marked presence of bib-liometric and science evaluation topics.
