Los estudios teóricos sobre la producción de la noticia: bases teóricas, perspectivas y nuevas tendencias

Resumen
La presente investigación documental se propone como objetivo general sistematizar los referentes teórico-conceptuales en los que se sustentan los estudios teóricos sobre la producción de la noticia. Se realiza este estudio para hacer frente a la dispersión teórico-metodológica que ha caracterizado a los estudios sobre el emisor y poder contar con un documento único que agrupe los principales enfoques, autores, tendencias y áreas de investigación. Desde la perspectiva cualitativa, se asume el método bibliográfico-documental y las técnicas revisión bibliográfica-documental y entrevista semiestructurada. Entre los principales resultados se establecen los postulados fundamentales que, desde la sociología, sirven de base a la Teoría de la construcción social de la realidad de Berger y Luckmann, teoría social de referencia de los estudios sobre el emisor; y a varias de las consideraciones posteriores, planteadas en dichos estudios. Se determinan autores y postulados fundamentales de Europa, Estados Unidos y México, principalmente, que resultan sustantivos para cualquier estudio sobre emisores; tal es el caso de Miguel Rodrigo Alsina, Gaye Tuchman, Michael Schudson o María Elena Hernández Ramírez, por ejemplo. Se describen, además, las tendencias actuales de las investigaciones sobre el emisor, basadas en la Sociedad de la Información y las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación; y la manera en que han modificado los modos de hacer y la propia visión de la profesión periodística.
The present documentary research proposes as a general objective to systematize the theoretical-conceptual referents on which the theoretical studies on news production are based. This study is carried out to deal with the theoretical-methodological dispersion that has characterized the newsmaking studies and to be able to have a single document that groups the main approaches, authors, trends and research areas. The bibliographic-documentary method and the bibliographic-documentary review and semi-structured interview techniques are assumed from a qualitative perspective. Among the main results are established the fundamental postulates that, from sociology, serve as the basis for the Theory of the social construction of reality by Berger and Luckmann, the social theory of reference for studies on the issuer; and several of the subsequent considerations raised in said studies. Fundamental authors and postulates mainly from Europe, the United States and Mexico are determined, which are substantive for any study on issuers; such is the case of Miguel Rodrigo Alsina, Gaye Tuchman, Michael Schudson or María Elena Hernández Ramírez, for example. It also describes the current trends in research on the issuer, based on the Information Society and Information and Communication Technologies; and the way in which they have modified the ways of doing and the very vision of the journalistic profession.
