El trabajo está titulado: “Perspectivas de un perfil antropométrico en preescolares con discapacidad intelectual de la primera infancia en Santa Clara”. Por lo que se orienta esta investigación a caracterizar el perfil antropométrico de los preescolares con discapacidad intelectual (retraso mental) de la primera infancia en Santa Clara. Se define como problema científico: ¿qué características antropométricas presentan los preescolares con discapacidad intelectual de la primera infancia en Santa Clara?, y de manera específica se pretende fundamentar desde la teoría los elementos que se relacionan con la antropometría en preescolares con discapacidad intelectual de la primera infancia; determinar los rasgos esenciales del perfil antropométrico; comparar los indicadores antropométricos determinados, por instituciones; y establecer la relación de los datos antropométricos obtenidos con las potencialidades de los preescolares para la Educación Física y el Deporte para todos. En la misma participaron 8 alumnos que cursan el grado preescolar, 4 del Círculo Infantil Alegre Despertar y 4 de la escuela especial Marta Abreu. En el proceso de investigación se emplearon métodos científicos del nivel teórico y el nivel empírico, así como el estadístico matemático para comparar los datos antropométricos obtenidos en las mediciones realizadas a los preescolares en ambos centros. Los resultados ofrecen la posibilidad de advertir las perspectivas preliminares de los preescolares en el marco de la actividad física.
The work is entitled: "Perspectives of an anthropometric profile in early childhood preschoolers with intellectual disabilities in Santa Clara". Therefore, this research his aimed at characterizing the anthropometric profile of early childhood preschoolers with intellectual disabilities (mental retardation) in Santa Clara. It is defined as a scientific problem: what anthropometric characteristics do preschool children with intellectual disabilities have in early childhood in Santa Clara ?, and in a specific way it is intended to base the elements that relate to anthropometry in preschool children with intellectual disabilities from the theory early childhood; determine the essential features of the anthropometric profile; compare the determined anthropometric indicators, by institutions; and establish the relationship of the anthropometric data obtained with the potential of the preschoolers for Physical Education and Sport for all. It involved 8 students who attend the preschool level, 4 of the Alegre Awakening Infant Circle and 4 of the Marta Abreu special school. In their search process, scientific methods of the theoretical level and the empirical level were used, as well as the mathematical statistic to compare the anthropometric data obtained in the measurements made to preschool children in both centers. The results offer the possibility of warning the preliminary perspectives of the preschoolers in the framework of physical activity.
