Resumen
Este trabajo de diploma se desarrolla en el marco de una tradición investigativo-exploratoria desarrollada desde la carrera de Estudios Socioculturales de la UCLV dirigidos a evidenciar, cuestionar y contribuir a enfrentar prejuicios y representaciones sociales negativas sobre la mujer practicante de los cultos afrocubanos y especialmente de la Santería, presentes en el tratamiento y convivencia de la sociedad de Villa Clara actual.
En este caso se realiza en el contexto de la ciudad de Sagua la Grande, rico exponente de tradiciones afrocubanas y por tanto portadoras potencial de estas visiones y conductas mediatizadas.
Para ello se tomó una muestra pequeña pero significativa, con carácter intencional, para poder evidenciar esta situación y utilizarla para propiciar la proyección de las afectadas, vecinos y otros miembros de la comunidad y lideres comunitarios, construyéndose un plan de acciones que, con la participación activa de cada uno de estos sujetos implicados, contribuya a los objetivos propuestos.
This diploma work is developed in the framework of a research-exploratory tradition developed from the race UCLV Sociocultural Studies aimed to highlight, question and contribute to confront prejudice and negative social representations on women practitioner of Afro-Cuban religions and especially Santeria, present in the treatment and Villa Clara coexistence of society today. In this case takes place in the context of the city of Sagua la Grande, rich exponent of Afro-Cuban traditions and therefore potential carriers of these views and behaviors mediated. This was taken a small but significant, with intentional, in order to highlight this situation and use it to promote the screening of the affected neighbors and other community members and community leaders, building an action plan, with the participation active in each of these subjects involved, contribute to the objectives.
