Resumen
En la investigación se realiza el diagnóstico de la preparación técnica de los Taekwondistas de la categoría 11-12 años de Sagua la Grande, para enfrentar en la categoría superior la modalidad del poomsae free style (estilo libre), que se implementa a partir del presente curso escolar 2018-2019 en todo el país. Dicha modalidad tiene gran complejidad, pues exige la inclusión de elementos acrobáticos conjuntamente con las técnicas de pateo propios del deporte, a lo que suma la coreografía y la música en perfecta armonía, con evaluaciones similares a los deportes de apreciación. Para la realización del mismo se utilizaron los métodos revisión de documentos, la observación y otros. El trabajo resulta novedoso pues es el primero de su tipo en la provincia y contribuye a conocer el estado actual de esta preparación técnica y sienta las bases para una proyección futura por la necesidad en su implementación y por el peso en el total de medallas en todos los escenarios competitivos.
In the investigation, it is carried out the diagnosis of the technical preparation of the taekwondo players of the category 11-12 years of Sagua la Grande to face in the superior category the modality of the poomsae free style that is implemented starting from the present school course 2018-2019 in the whole country.
