Resumen
La Universalización de la Educación Superior es la extensión de la universidad a la
sociedad a través de su presencia en todos los territorios, permitiendo con ello elevar los
niveles de equidad y justicia social para la obtención de una cultura general integral de los
ciudadanos. La necesidad de información pública sobre este proceso en la provincia de
Villa Clara y la petición sistemática del Vicerrectorado de Universalización (VRU) de la
Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas (UCLV) y del Ministerio de Educación
Superior (MES) hacia las Sedes Universitarias Municipales (SUM) de entregar
semestralmente un alto volumen de información, dio origen a este proyecto.
En este trabajo se desarrolla un sistema computacional con interfaz Web para el control
de la información de las SUM e información general del proceso de universalización en
Villa Clara. Se facilita con ello la obtención de informes finales de interés para el VRU de
la UCLV y las diferentes instituciones del MES y se muestra información pública de esta
área de resultados clave a todos los usuarios de la intranet universitaria.
