dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación fue motivada por el déficit de estudios sobre la visión de la mujer en los textos de prosa no ficcional de Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda. Ante esto, se propuso sistematizar  la visión de la mujer de dicha escritora cubana decimonónica, específicamente en su prosa no ficcional. Para ello, adopta los derroteros del paradigma cualitativo para la investigación en cultura, arte y literatura, y dentro de este, se adscribe al método de análisis de contenido en su estrategia intensiva, teniendo en cuenta dos categorías: visión de la mujer, como variable principal, y prosa no ficcional. Para cumplir con este objetivo se concibió un preámbulo teórico-metodológico con las conceptualizaciones de dichas categorías, las cuales fueron ofrecidas por la teoría y la crítica literarias feministas y por los estudios sobre la Avellaneda. Como principal resultado, la presente investigación atisba que la incursión de Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda en la prosa no ficcional traza un programa de subversión del discurso hegemónico patriarcal desde la literatura reflexiva, y propone la emancipación femenina desde la escritura pública, puesto que la prosa no ficcional ha sido usada por la autora como vehículo para expresar su visión de la mujer como oposición al ideal decimonónico.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis research paper was motivated by the shortage of studies related to how the woman is represented in Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda’s books non fictional prose. This investigation is set to systematize the representation of the woman by this 19th-century Cuban author, specifically in her non fictional prose. Having this aim in mind, the research follows the qualitative paradigm for the investigation in culture, art and literature, and particularly it holds on the method of content analysis in its intensive strategy, considering two categories: the representation of the woman, as the main variable, and non fictional prose as the other. In order to fulfill this objective a theoretical-methodological framework was designed conceptualizing such categories, which are rendered by the feminist theory and literary critic and by the studies on this author. The main result of the present investigation glimpses that Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda's incursion in the non fictional prose devices a subversion program of the hegemonic-patriarchal discourse standing from the reflexive literature, and it proposes the feminine emancipation from the public writing, since the non fictional prose has been used by the author as a vehicle to express her vision of the woman which opposed to the 19th-century ideal.en_US
