Resumen
El presente trabajo investigativo se desarrolla en la Unidad Empresarial de Base de
Análisis y Servicios Técnicos de “Villa Clara”, con el objetivo de diseñar perfiles de
competencias para cargos y puestos de trabajo en la misma.
En tal sentido se realizó un diagnóstico de la situación actual de la gestión de recursos
humanos como punto de partida para detectar la necesidad de efectuar un estudio de
análisis y descripción de puestos de trabajo, como base para elaborar los perfiles de
competencias.
Como resultado de la misma se elaboraron los perfiles del cargo de Técnico Auxiliar en
Recursos Hídricos y Especialista “C” en Gestión Económica , los cuales constituyen un
salto cualitativo relacionado con sus antecesores, los profesiogramas, debido a que
superan las insuficiencias imputadas a éstos y brindan las cualidades que exige la
creciente ventaja competitiva capaz de decidir el futuro de una organización, pues solo
con la gestión adecuada del personal con que se cuenta se puede alcanzar el éxito en
el desempeño de la misma.

The present investigative work is developed in the Managerial Unit of Base of Analysis and Technical Services of "Villa Clara", with the objective of designing profiles of competitions for positions and work positions in the same one. In such a sense he/she was carried out a diagnosis of the current situation of the administration of human resources like starting point to detect the necessity to make an analysis study and description of work positions, like base to elaborate the profiles of competitions. As a result of the same one the profiles of Auxiliary Technician's position were elaborated in Resources Hídricos and Specialist "C" in Economic Administration, which constitute a qualitative jump related with their predecessors, the profesiogramas, because they overcome the inadequacies imputed to these and the qualities that it demands the growing competitive advantage able to decide the future of an organization, toast because alone with the personnel's appropriate administration with which you is counted it can reach the success in the acting of the same one.
