Resumen
En la actualidad diferentes entornos virtuales de aprendizaje (EVA) como Moodle,
Dokeos y Blackboard, posibilitan al profesor dar seguimiento a la actividad que
desarrolla el estudiante. Sin embargo, a pesar de la aceptación que experimentan
tales entornos en Cuba, la producción de medios didácticos soportados en
dispositivos removibles –considerados entornos virtuales de aprendizaje- se ha
mantenido como una alternativa a la utilización de dichas plataformas. Tales
circunstancias, presentes en Cuba, favorecen cada vez más a la utilización de
múltiples entornos de aprendizaje por el estudiante, al tiempo que dificultan el
seguimiento de su actividad por parte del profesor. Ante esta problemática el
presente trabajo considera como problema de investigación: ¿Cómo facilitar el
seguimiento de la actividad del estudiante que utiliza múltiples entornos virtuales de
aprendizaje?
En correspondencia con el problema que plantea la investigación, en el presente
trabajo se describen los fundamentos teóricos vinculados al seguimiento de la
actividad del estudiante en entornos virtuales de aprendizaje; las principales
actividades del estudiante en un entorno virtual de aprendizaje; los elementos que
componen a una especificación para la descripción de dichas actividades; así como el diseño de una herramienta informática (Teduk Activity) que facilita el seguimiento al estudiante que utiliza múltiples entornos virtuales de aprendizaje.
At present different virtual learning environments (VLE) as Moodle, Blackboard, Dokeos, enable the teacher to track learning activities. However, despite the acceptance of such environments in Cuba, the production of removable mediasupported virtual learning environments has remained as an alternative to the use of such platforms. As a result, the use of multiples VLE by Cuban students has become a problem for teachers looking for an effective tracking of students’ activity. In line with the above problem, this research considers as the general research problem: How to facilitate the tracking of students that uses multiple virtual learning environments? According to this, the paper describes the theoretical foundations of tracking learning activities; the main learning activities in today’s virtual learning environments; as well as a specification for the description of those activities. Finally, the paper outlines the design of a learning tool (Teduk Activity) for tracking students that uses multiple virtual learning environments.
