Resumen
El presente trabajo se realizó en el municipio Ranchuelo, con el objetivo de identificar y evaluar los recursos turísticos del municipio Ranchuelo en función del desarrollo local del territorio. Dando respuesta a la política del país respecto a la gestión y desarrollo de iniciativas locales, que garanticen el autofinanciamiento a partir de recursos endógenos de los territorios, aprovechando sus recursos y atractivos, beneficiando a las comunidades, la economía y al territorio local en cuestión, de una manera sostenible.
Para ello se partió de una extensa búsqueda bibliográfica que abarcó aspectos sobre el turismo, sus clasificaciones, los recursos turísticos, el desarrollo desde un enfoque local, sus actores claves y el desarrollo local a partir de la actividad turística.
Se rediseñó un procedimiento metodológico, detallándose su proceder, aplicándose el mismo, así como entrevistas, encuestas, la observación y el análisis documental. Todo ello permitió determinar que el municipio Ranchuelo no posee grandes recursos turísticos concentrándose la mayoría de los existentes en la cabecera municipal.
Por ello se concluye que el desarrollo turístico debe realizarse en la cabecera municipal y ser cuidadosamente monitoreado para el máximo aprovechamiento en aras del desarrollo del territorio.
The present work was carried out in the Ranchuelo municipality, with the aim of identifying and evaluating the tourist resources of the Ranchuelo municipality based on the local development of the territory. A methodological procedure was redesigned, detailed its procedure, applying it, as well as interviews, surveys, observation and document analysis. All this allowed to determine that the Ranchuelo municipality does not have great tourist resources, concentrating on most of the existing ones at the municipal header. For this reason, it is concluded that tourism development must be held at the municipal header and be carefully monitored for maximum use in the sake of the development of the territory.
