Resumen
El presente trabajo de diploma se realizó en la ESBU José Ramón León Acosta
perteneciente al municipio de Santa Clara, durante la misma se utilizaron numerosos
métodos que ayudaron a detectar dificultades relacionadas con el pobre desarrollo de la
educación ambiental en un grupo de 9no grado. Una de las causas principales de este
problema se debe a que las orientaciones metodológicas y sugerencias que ofrece el
programa de la asignatura para el grado no son suficientes ni las actividades y textos
propuestos en el cuaderno de trabajo cumplen a cabalidad con el fin que persigue la
presente investigación. Por lo que la autora de este trabajo propone un sistema de textos y
actividades para el desarrollo de la educación ambiental en este grado. Los textos que se
proponen fueron tomados de diferentes sitios de Internet. En ellos se abordan diferente s
temáticas medio ambientales con el objetivo de desarrollar una educación ambiental en estos
estudiantes. La propuesta fue sometida a criterios de especialistas quienes ofrecieron una
valiosa evaluación de la misma y la consideran muy útil y de gran pertinencia en la
actualidad. También fue sometida parcialmente a un pre-experimento cuyos resultados
fueron positivos.
This research was carried out at “José Ramón León Acosta” Secondary School in Santa Clara. During the diagnosis stage, some difficulties dealing with environmental education were detected. It was poorly developed. The methods used helped the author to detect the difficulties which are associated with the fact that some of the methodological guidelines, texts and activities proposed in the teaching materials for the improvement of the environmental education do not guarantee its development in 9 th graders from José Ramón León Acosta Secondary School. Therefore, it was decided to come up with a system of texts and communicative tasks to contribute to their environmental education. The texts proposed were taken from different web sites. They include different environmental topics aimed at developing environmental education in these students. To prove its validity, the proposal was evaluated by seven prestigious specialists whose criteria were positive, and the suggestions given were taken into consideration. It was also partially experimented and the results proved its effectiveness
